Senior Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Spire South Bank Hospital is seeking a Senior Nurse Specialist to join their Outpatient Department on a full-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the department's growth and development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Outpatient Manager in leading the team and implementing departmental strategies
  • Deliver individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Chaperone and assist Consultants during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures
  • Assist in arranging investigations requested by Consultants and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to risk assessments and Datix investigations, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills, as well as those of others, to promote best practice
  • Promote health and safety and security within the department
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services to meet patient needs

Requirements:

  • Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years' registration experience
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration
  • Compassionate and able to demonstrate excellent patient care
  • Strong Assessment and communication skills
  • Computer literate and efficient with workload
  • Experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable
