Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Operator to join our team at our Heywood site. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products are manufactured on-time, to an agreed schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to continually improve product quality by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Neogen Europe policy and process.
  • Perform duties related to the manufacture of Neogen plates and supplements, including packing and assembly of final products.
  • Participate in new product transfers into routine production and maintain accurate records of equipment usage.
  • Follow SOPs and Team Leaders' instructions to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all environments within the company are kept clean and tidy, and that materials are stored properly and waste is disposed of correctly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
