Job Description

Unite People is seeking a highly skilled Flood Alleviation Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our environmental projects team, you will be responsible for managing all stages of flood alleviation projects from feasibility to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flood risk management techniques and environmental legislation. With at least 5 years of experience in managing flood alleviation or water infrastructure projects, you will develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

We are looking for an individual who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and environmental specialists. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and technical specifications. Your excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills will enable you to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field is essential. The estimated salary for this position is £80k - £90k + package.
