Power Platform Solutions Architect

UK Wide-Hybrid Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Solutions Architect to lead the development, evolution, and roadmap management of Power Platform services. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure the seamless operation and sustainability of the platform, while serving as the primary escalation point for support issues and governance.

In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of Power Platform adoption within the Society, driving its growth across the organisation. You will be responsible for introducing and driving Power Platform adoption, leveraging your expertise to deliver impactful, innovative solutions.

As a hybrid worker, you will have the flexibility to work from home while also having access to our UK-wide estate. We value our time in the office to solve problems, learn, and feel connected. You will be located at our nearest regional hub and will need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events, which will be held quarterly in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Manage the evolution of Power Platform at an enterprise level, ensuring seamless service delivery and acting as the go-to expert on platform design, licensing, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, customising the CoE Starter Kit, and optimising the platform for scalability, security, and business continuity.
  • Lead key projects to support delivery teams, monitoring usage, managing Admin Centre and Azure configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to quickly resolve issues.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, fostering Power Platform adoption and guiding the organisation in leveraging technology for business growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in Power Platform at an enterprise level, managing its evolution.
  • Strong IT background with 3rd line support experience, ideally focused on cloud services.
  • Deep knowledge of governance, security, and compliance within Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
  • Solid understanding of service delivery across Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell for automation and operations.
  • Familiar with application lifecycle management (ALM), including version control, deployment, and platform monitoring.
  • Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure certification.
  • ITIL, Agile/Scrum experience or certification.
