Job Description

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Development Engineer to join an innovative sustainable packaging organisation in Buckinghamshire.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development of innovative, sustainable packaging solutions to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Oversee climate chamber testing to ensure continuous improvement and ISTA accreditation within two years.
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager to ensure all packaging meets stringent quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific/engineering field.
  • Proven experience in packaging engineering, with expertise in CAD Design or thermal modelling software.
  • Knowledge of ISTA/ANFOR standards and climate chamber testing.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience in Cold Chain, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, or FMCG sectors is a plus.
