About the Role

Your new role as an International Property Binder Underwriter will be a key part of our team at Hays Construction and Property, working closely with our clients to provide innovative solutions for their property and liability needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite new and renewal property binders, exercising sound judgment in all underwriting matters
  • Manage property binders effectively, including performance monitoring, referrals, and bordereaux management
  • Stay up-to-date with complex underwriting risks and trends in the US DA markets
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of DA Property to drive business growth and success
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced knowledge of the International Commercial property business, including liability associated with commercial property business
  • Experience in International Homeowners and High Value Home business, Lloyd's insurance market, Underwriting Principles, and Legal Principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
