Infrastructure Operations Technician

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Road Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our roads and highways.
The salary for this position is approximately £28,000-£38,000 per annum, based on experience.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for:
- Operating vehicles and equipment to maintain and repair roads and highways.
- Working with our squad to deliver road maintenance and construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Participating in winter maintenance operations and standby/call out rotas.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience working in roadworks, civil engineering, or construction.
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a temporary position, and the duration will be determined by business needs and funding.
