Associate Consultant (Graduate Recruitment Consultant)
About the Role
As an Associate Consultant at The Barton Partnership, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our teams. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the first point of contact for our candidates, fostering productive and meaningful conversations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Network Development: Cultivate and grow a network of high-calibre candidates, leveraging Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other tools to identify, attract, and engage with professionals.

Research and Intelligence Gathering: Conduct desk-based research using various methodologies to create longlists and engage with talent, delivering shortlists that meet client expectations.

Support and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to execute projects mandated by clients, taking ownership at critical stages of the process and ensuring seamless delivery.

Process Management: Assist in managing candidates through recruitment processes, scheduling interviews and meetings, and maintaining effective communication channels.

Company-Wide Initiatives: Contribute to internal and external initiatives, including B-Corp and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to enhance the business culture and promote a positive work environment.

Training and Development: Collaborate with your line manager and the people team to develop a personalized development plan, combining professional and personal goals to achieve long-term success in sales.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience and Career Ambitions: As a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a strong academic record, you will possess research skills gained through university studies. You should have a strong desire to build a career in recruitment or sales, ideally with some industry knowledge. Our most successful Associate Consultants are motivated by achievement, willing to work hard to progress, and open to seeking advice and help when needed.

Communication: Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with various stakeholders, writing clear, concise, and professional emails and project reports, and developing presentation skills to use internal and external communications tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
