Role Overview
Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent environmental science, countryside management, earth sciences, physical geography, or geology graduate to kickstart their career in ground investigation and contaminated land.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise ground investigations and Phase 1 Desk studies
- Carry out risk assessments, groundwater and gas monitoring, and collect soil samples
- Schedule testing and analysis and write factual and interpretive reports
Requirements
- Hold a degree in geology, earth sciences, environmental science, geography, or a heavily soil-focused subject
- Have exceptional communication and time management skills
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence
- Be commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne
- Be willing to travel to sites and work in office
- Have a full right to work in the UK
