About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with complex needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs">
  • Implementing individualized programs and contributing to individual education plans">
  • Assisting with pupil supervision and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment">
  • Following child protection, health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection policies and procedures">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • A good understanding of SEN and a passion for developing pupils within a school setting">
  • NVQ in Childcare and Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (unqualified Teaching Assistants are also welcome to apply)">
  • A current valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
