Job Title: Internal Communications Manager

Join the University of Hull's Marketing and Student Services Recruitment team as an Internal Communications Manager, where you will play a key role in shaping the University's internal communications strategy and engaging our staff community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead communications campaigns and initiatives to build a sense of belonging and pride among our staff. You will work closely with senior managers and leaders to develop and deliver an internal communications strategy that reflects the University's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide insights, information, and ideas to senior managers and leaders to advise on the development and delivery of an internal communications strategy.
  • Support the Director of Communications and the Senior Internal Communications Manager in developing the Communications Strategy and delivering the internal communications elements.
  • Initiate, lead, and manage internal communications campaigns to engage and involve colleagues in University initiatives, achievements, progress, and issues.
  • Manage the University's communication channels, including the staff portal, and develop strategies for updating, retiring, and migrating content.
  • Support the University's engagement with colleagues in response to critical incidents and manage staff engagement around incidents.
