Job Overview
Hunter Savage is working in partnership with a leading supplier based in Northern Ireland to fill the role of a Lead Buyer. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Senior Management team and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

This is a brand new role that focuses on process improvement, cost savings, and supplier partnerships. If you are enthusiastic, passionate about making processes more efficient, and have excellent communication skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive starting salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including annual bonus, free fresh fruit, health & wellbeing programme, casual dress policy, employee discounts, company events, and free onsite parking.

In your new role, you will:
  • Implement procurement strategies aligned with seasonal trends.
  • Sourcing new products from existing and new suppliers, negotiating best prices and lead times while ensuring quality standards.
  • Oversee the distribution of stock to various sites, maintaining consistent stock levels to meet demand.
