We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting foster carers and ensuring they provide safe, stable, and permanent homes for children in need.
Your Responsibilities- Provide support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring compliance with the Fostering Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards in fostering.
- Conduct thorough household reviews and produce high-quality reports.
- Respond to calls from foster carers, including potential emergencies, and provide on-call support as required.
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of children in fostering placements.
We are looking for a qualified social worker with:
- Proven experience working with children and families in a fostering setting.
- A strong understanding of the Fostering Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
