Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team as a Lead Support Worker in Supported Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supervising the support for individuals within your area of responsibility, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to individuals with learning disabilities and vulnerable adults.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of a number of locations, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place and up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centered approach to care.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on person-centered practice.
