Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Preston. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health support, learning disabilities, and autism, with experience in a similar setting. You will be a team player, with supervisory experience and a passion for leading a team that makes a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
  • Organise and coordinate risk assessments and support plans tailored to each individual.
  • Support the management team to maintain high standards of support work.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, social, recreational and occupational activities including community integration.
  • Act as a role model, setting the standard for the team and offering guidance when needed.
