About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Bioresources team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites in the Wanlip, Leicester area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out fault diagnostics and repairs on mechanical Bioresources assets
  • Completing multi-skill electrical training to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Supporting Severn Trent's drive to improve safety standards and ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner
  • Participating in a standby rota to provide flexibility and support to the team

Requirements

  • Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade
  • Experience in fault finding of mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets
  • Working knowledge of process control systems and industrial equipment, such as mechanical drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems
  • Basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements/standards and an NVQ level in mechanical qualification
  • Full UK driving license
