Internal Communications and Engagement Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Internal Communications and Engagement Advisor to join our team at Dentons. As a key member of our Internal Communications & Engagement team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering high-quality content and campaigns that engage and inspire our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Internal Communications & Engagement Manager to develop and deliver content for internal channels, including the UKIME intranet and internal publications.
  • Conceptualize and produce dynamic media, including videos, infographics, banners, and AV reels, to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Contribute to devising and implementing impactful and engaging multi-channel campaigns and tactics to drive business strategy and performance.
  • Assist with preparation and content organization for major internal broadcast events, including Firmwide Townhalls and Partner meetings.
  • Work with business stakeholders to build internal communications templates for self-service.
  • Produce monthly analytics reports on digital content to refine comms approaches and tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in journalism or communications roles, with a strong preference for internal and/or change communications experience.
  • Proven success in developing and executing internal communications materials and memos.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with superb attention to detail.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to see messages and content through different audience lenses.
  • Creative thinker and adept storyteller, with the ability to tell engaging and powerful stories through words and visuals.
  • Degree-level qualification and/or specialisation in strategic communications, public relations, internal communication, digital marketing, or journalism.
  • Practical video editing skills (Premier Pro nice to have but not essential).
