Field Service Engineer - Recycling Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our rapidly expanding engineering team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites for break downs, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of waste recycling machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending customer sites for break downs, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of waste recycling machinery
  • Evaluating and resolving 3 phase electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Working on PLC controlled machinery
  • Liaising with and working alongside other technical engineers
  • Responsible for the installation and testing of equipment
  • Providing training on machine operation to customers and end users
  • Attend and repair equipment breakdowns on customer sites
  • Providing service report and time sheets to the Service Manager for evaluation
Requirements:
  • Experienced maintenance Engineer with mobile experience
  • Single and 3 phase Electrical experience essential
  • Hydraulic experience is essential
  • Worked in heavy/Industrial environment
  • Direct experience within the waste/recycling industry an advantage
  • Full UK driving license
  • Flexibility with hours as overtime will be required
Package Details:
  • Hours of work 40hr 8am-4.30pm overtime outside those hours will be paid @1.5 and after 9pm double time
  • Average 10hrs a week overtime @£24ph = £12,480 plus £33k basic = £45,480 average earnings per year
  • Weekends if called out £60 call out and 1.5 hourly rate for first 4hrs on Saturday and then double time and double time all day Sunday
  • 28 days holiday including bankers plus 1 day for every year for first 5 years
