Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform total maintenance and repairs of equipment
  • Report and document component failures

  • Assist, support, and train service crew
  • Test and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators, preparing test reports according to ISO standards

The role involves a range of tasks, but from time to time, you may be required to carry out other duties that are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • Education to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (including apprenticeship)
  • Experience in servicing and repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery)
  • Full, clean, and valid driving license, with ability to work out of hours and be part of the on-call rota
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Well-organised and capable of keeping vehicles to GSCS standards
