About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team as a Partner. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our practice and delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate clinician with a strong track record of leadership and innovation. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, supporting our staff, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our clinical quality and patient experience.

We are a mixed urban/semi-rural practice with 16,000 patients based over three sites. We dispense to a proportion of our patients from modern purpose-built premises at one of our branch surgeries. We are a SystmOne practice and have been at the forefront of adopting digital technologies, currently using 'Anima' as our digital triage platform.

We are rated as Good across all areas by the CQC. Our clinical team is supported by an experienced management team and dedicated back-office functions. We are an active member of the award-winning Selby Town Primary Care Network.

We are a training Practice with GP registrars, FY2 doctors, Year 4 medical students, and trainee nurses regularly onsite.

Person Specification
  • Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
  • General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
  • MRCGP
  • Full GMC registration
  • National Performers List registration
  • Appropriate MDO indemnity (MPS/MDU)
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
  • Experience of working in a UK primary care setting
  • Evidence of a commitment to continued professional development
  • Excellent level of clinical knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Occupational Health clearance
  • Experience of QOF and clinical audit
