Job Summary

This role involves preparing and serving healthy meals to children in a busy primary school kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Manage kitchen resources, including inventory, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field.
  • Proven track record in cooking, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and allergy awareness.
