Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading learning within Loreburn Primary School, located in the heart of Dumfries town centre. With a strong focus on combining traditional values with fresh 21st Century thinking, the school strives to provide an excellent education for its diverse community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve pupil outcomes and attainment
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve high standards of teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive forward educational excellence

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated at £71,181 per annum, which is competitive for a Headteacher position in the region. In addition, a significant relocation package of up to £5,000 may be available to support the successful candidate in their transition to Dumfries.
