We are recognized as the leader in High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) magnet design, numerical modeling, and prototyping. Our dedicated HTS magnet team, in collaboration with key manufacturing partners, aims to become the leading supplier of HTS magnets across various markets.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our growing Business Development team within the newly formed Magnets Business Unit. This role will focus on developing and executing commercial strategies for our innovative HTS magnet technology, targeting diverse sectors such as fusion applications, scientific research, medical, industrial, aviation, space, and power generation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to define and implement strategic business development plans for our HTS magnet offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the specified sectors.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our HTS magnets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, and industry experts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development within the technology or engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of the HTS magnet market and its applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
