Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Leadership team to support business strategy development and implementation, workforce planning, and culture building aligned with our values.
- Provide proactive and HR support and advice on employee relations, organizational design, and HR policy implementation.
- Coach managers on various HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance on topics like Discipline, Grievance, Diversity & Inclusion, and GDPR.
- Work closely with Senior Managers and Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection processes, ensuring talent attraction, recruitment, and retention meet business needs.
- Support departmental restructuring initiatives, ensuring transparent and legally compliant processes are followed.
- Provide HR KPIs and reports to assist Managers in making informed business decisions. Ensure effective use of the HRIS system (Workday) to reduce paper-based processes and administrative overhead.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers to determine departmental training and development needs, maintain a succession plan, and ensure performance management processes are embedded.
- Support UK HR change projects, Company initiatives, and local business improvement initiatives as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of the monthly payroll in compliance with legislative requirements in coordination with the Payroll team.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the HR Assistant. Mentor and coach team members to support their career development.
- Employee Engagement: Maintain and develop various employee engagement initiatives and act as a site sponsor for Mental Health & Wellbeing, and communications champion.
- Broad generalist HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and experience in International HR.
- Experience in managing and developing people.
- Knowledge of grading and salary benchmarking tools.
