About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead a key project on sickness absence management within our council. This important role involves:
- Developing and implementing innovative approaches to absence management, aligning with best practice and organisational values.
- Reviewing and refining our policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
- Creating comprehensive training materials and toolkits to empower managers to proactively support sickness absence.
- Providing proactive managerial support for complex sickness absence cases.
- Analyzing key performance indicators to measure and demonstrate organisational impact.
About You
We are looking for an HR generalist with strong Employee Relations expertise. The ideal candidate:
- Possesses exceptional communication skills and quickly builds rapport.
- Has a proven track record in policy development and implementation.
- Excels in both case management and project coordination.
- Can take a creative approach and develop fresh ideas.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills to interpret and act on data.
