Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough credit evaluations, analyzing financial and non-financial risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate key risks.
- Review and challenge proposals from the Front Office, presenting independent credit opinions to the Credit Committee.
- Monitor borrower performance, industry trends, and credit exposures, ensuring all covenants are adhered to throughout the loan life cycle.
- Support senior management with timely risk analysis and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct annual reviews of existing customers and proactive monitoring for early warning signals.
- Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong financial analysis, projection, and stress-testing skills.
- Direct experience within 2nd line defence.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks across various industries and sectors.
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and independent mindset.
