Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Specialist to join our team at Global Machinery Solutions Ltd.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced marketing environment, managing a range of exciting projects and campaigns to promote our brands in the capital equipment industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with experience in managing multiple projects and working with suppliers' marketing contacts.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Create and distribute valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and engage a target audience, including blog posts, videos, infographics, and case studies.
- Develop a content calendar and work with the team to create engaging content that meets our business objectives.
- Work with the creative team to produce high-quality visual content, including graphics and videography.
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and implement social media strategies to reach and interact with existing and prospective customers, building brand awareness and driving website traffic.
- Work with the team to create engaging social media content, including posts, tweets, and LinkedIn articles.
- Monitor and report on social media performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize our social media strategy.
Email Marketing
- Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to build relationships with current and potential customers, promote content, share news, and offer deals.
- Work with the team to create engaging email content, including subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action.
- Monitor and report on email marketing performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize our email strategy.
Analytics and Data Analysis
- Analyse the performance of digital marketing campaigns to measure their degree of success and make data-driven decisions.
- Work with the team to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including website traffic, social media engagement, and email open rates.
- Use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and optimize our marketing strategy.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Work with the team to optimise our website content and structure to rank higher in search engine results pages, making it more visible to people searching for relevant keywords.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, making data-driven decisions to optimise our SEO strategy.
Other Components of the Marketing Mix
Events and Shows
Attend and participate in 4-6 shows, events, and exhibitions per year, working with the team to deliver a successful marketing programme.
Merchandise & Brochures
Work with the team to develop a comprehensive selection of customer handout merchandise and brochures, ensuring that they align with suppliers' requirements and promote our brands effectively.
Requirements
- 3 years digital marketing experience, with a strong background in content marketing and social media.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in content performance analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and a keen eye for detail.
- IT skills, including the use of MS Office programs and social media platforms.
- Driving licence essential as travel will be required, nationally and at times internationally.
- CRM knowledge, data input, and analysing data/trends.
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- The ability to work under pressure.
