About the Role:

The Homelessness Lead Officer will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Council's response to the housing emergency. This involves working closely with partners to identify and progress actions that will alleviate housing and homelessness pressures. A key part of the role will involve preparing and overseeing a governance framework that includes the delivery of project management activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to address housing and homelessness pressures
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver project management activities

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as social work or housing management
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating responses to housing emergencies

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of **£45,500 per annum**, dependent on experience
  • A temporary contract for up to 3 years
