Babcock Careers is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at our Rosyth site. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines or Manual/Conventional Machines to exacting tolerances and finishing specifications.
The Role
You will translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production, perform set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories, and ensure that all machining procedures are completed in accordance with project specifications. Additionally, you will follow all company safety protocols and perform assigned duties as required by management.
Requirements
- Time served Apprenticeship experience in machining.
- CNC programming / manual turning & Milling experience.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, 39-hour per week role based on site at Rosyth. If you have the skills and experience required, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team.
