We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Corporate & Commercial team at Howden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and targeting new clients through effective marketing and prospecting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Target new clients through effective marketing and prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish and manage renewal strategies with clients to maximize renewal success.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on their insurance exposures and ensure they are correctly and adequately insured.
  • Liaise with Account and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve client service standards.
  • Support the Division in achieving sales targets and actively cross-sell products from other Divisions.
  • Maintain professional competence by complying with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm.
  • Seek feedback from clients and respond to feedback received.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
  • Qualified to a minimum of Dip CII.
  • Excellent technical insurance skills, client service skills, negotiation and broking skills, and ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to gather and analyze information from clients.
  • Good understanding of Corporate Governance, financial awareness, and how a business works.
