Hollister Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our expert nursing team in East Sussex. This exciting opportunity will enable you to deliver high-quality specialist stoma care in the community.

About the Role

This fixed-term contract, working 15 hours per week on Monday and Tuesday, involves providing safe, effective, and specialist nursing care to patients discharged with a stoma from assigned hospitals and surrounding areas. You will teach and support other nursing and non-nursing staff and carers as required.

Responsibilities
  • Support patients discharged with a stoma from assigned hospitals and surrounding areas.
  • Provide specialist clinical advice on the safe provision of a stoma care nursing service.
  • Teach and support other nursing and non-nursing staff and carers as required.
  • Foster good communication links and co-operation between GPs, Community Nurses, Ward Managers, and other disciplines/departments.
Requirements
  • A minimum of community/district nurse experience (desirable).
  • A valid driving license (car driver essential) for home visits.
  • Proven experience with an interest within the stoma care/colorectal area.
