About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Portview. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our fit-out projects across various sectors, including luxury retail and stadia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Ensure company H&S compliance on site, manage drylining, partitioning, MEP, and scaffolding requirements, and attend coordination/site meetings.
  • Logistics and Inventory Control: Develop and implement efficient logistics plans, liaise with subcontractors and stakeholders, and implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste and minimize storage costs.
  • Package Co-ordination: Collaborate with site contracts managers, project managers, and stakeholders to define package scopes, specifications, and programmes, and ensure works are progressed to programme to prevent delays.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure quality and compliance inspection test plans are implemented on site, conduct inspections with Clients Technical advisor, and manage quality management risk with supply chain subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar in a main contracting environment, managing several subcontractors with interfaces to each other.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, effective communication and negotiation skills, and ability to analyse and resolve complex problems in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficient in using Project Management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
