The company we are looking for a Fleet Development Specialist to join their team is revolutionizing the tyre industry with cutting-edge technology. This innovative business focuses on sustainability, supporting decarbonisation goals of fleets across various sectors.

With over 15 years' experience in 360-degree fleet tyre management, this business has a solid foundation but is now poised for significant growth following substantial investment in its technology and ambitious plans. A forward-thinking approach drives the company's success, leveraging the latest advancements in technology to meet evolving client needs.

The Opportunity

This position offers a chance to create a new business unit, targeting end-user fleets, including construction, utilities, government, councils, hardworking vehicles, and specialist fleets. The successful candidate will work closely with an internal team to streamline operational processes and develop relationships with key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with specified key customer accounts.
  • Immerse yourself in diverse fleets, including cars, LCVs, HGVs, and plant equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with your internal team to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Focus on identifying new target opportunities to achieve an annual new business target.
  • Define a commercial approach to provide data-driven insights for fleet optimization and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of the tyre world and vehicle fleets will allow you to hit the ground running.
  • We are keen to talk with experienced Business Development Managers, Fleet Sales professionals, New Business Managers, or Key Account Managers, Account Managers with a new business bias.
  • A knowledge of the Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, or Fleet Management market would be preferred.
  • A strong sales background, particularly in B2B sales, closely linked with fleets of Cars, Vans, HGVs, or Plant, is essential.
  • Ability to influence key decision-makers, providing a smooth service delivery for each client.
  • An enthusiastic, positive individual who is easy to work with and enjoys working as a team.
