Job Overview: Residential Support Worker
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for six adults in their 20s who reside in a modern house on a quiet residential estate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the highest standards of care and support, making a tangible difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the home, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable living experience for all residents.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration, while promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that cater to individual interests and promote social interaction and skill development.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to care delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing person-centered care.
- Experience as a carer is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
- A valid driver's license is an advantage but not mandatory.
