About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Expert to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hands-on technical role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring safe working practices, and contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Providing support to other teams and stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of maintenance plans and schedules
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a hands-on technical role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- NVQ level 3 in a mechanical or electrical specialism (preferable)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in English, able to read and follow manuals and instructions
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and CMMS
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of coaching and sharing knowledge with team members
