About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Associate Director to lead our European payroll function, covering over 30 countries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a large payroll function, leading a team of 15+ employees, and ensuring accurate and timely calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a large payroll function, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal and external auditors, HRBP's, Global Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Develop and implement processes, projects, and payroll cycles to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with key stakeholders to implement change, including rewards, compensation, and salary adjustments.
- Support, train, and develop the team, leading projects that align with wider business plans.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience in managing a large payroll function, ideally with 8+ employees.
- Global and EMEA payroll coverage for multiple countries, including central and western Europe.
- Previous experience in payroll migration, system implementation, parallel running, and vendor selection.
- Strong ability to manage a diverse workforce, prioritize workload, and delegate tasks for multiple countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders.

- Competitive salary (DoE and interview performance) + 20% bonus.
- Hybrid structure: 4 days per week office-based (Frimley) and 1 day WFH.
- 4.5 day working week (half-day finish, every Friday).
