We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Conventus Solutions Limited. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in improving our quotation systems by working closely with the business to understand their requirements and applying them to the system via SQL scripts.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent Business Analysis experience, and a solid understanding of SQL database skills. Experience with Mendix is a plus, but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating rules into a database using SQL scripts and working with the business to understand specific requirements for insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the business to understand specific requirements for insurance products.
- Document the rules required to generate an automated quote.
- Create the rules into a database using SQL scripts.
- Collaborate with the business to improve quotation systems.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- BA experience is essential.
- Strong SQL database skills.
- Good logical thinker.
- Insurance knowledge is very advantageous.
- Any experience of using Mendix is desirable.
- Programming background would be advantageous.

Location
The role will be based from home with occasional visits to our offices in Holborn, London. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Salary
The salary for this role is around £31k and will be reviewed in less than 1 year with a view to increasing the remuneration significantly if the successful applicant meets the requirements of the role.
