GLG Vets is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to provide exceptional veterinary care in a dynamic environment.
Expected Salary: Up to 75,000 pounds per annum, pro-rata based on experience and qualifications. This competitive salary reflects the expected working hours aligning with a full-time, part-time or flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Offer guidance and advice to pet owners on general animal care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
- Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- CPD Allowance.
- VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid.
