We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WARTENS UK in Birmingham. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems for automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for automotive applications, including powertrains, chassis, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with electrical and automation engineers to support the integration of mechanical systems with basic PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Use CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Understanding of basic automation and control systems (PLC exposure is a plus).
Estimated Salary:

£55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
