Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our Customer Forward Maintenance Team, Customer Technical Team, and FM Project Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all project delivery related to mechanical services, including Boilers, Chillers, AHU's, Lab Extract Systems, Steam distribution, and refrigerant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take client briefs on mechanical projects and understand project initiation stages
- Consider new technology and understand dependencies on business critical systems on a building
- Liaise with key partners to come up with the right specification, driven by obsolescence, modernisation, and sustainability
- Project implementation, delivery, documentation, supply chain, handover, and warranty management aligned to the ISS Operational Process Framework
- Responsible for delivery in adherence to ISS UK Project Standards & Playbook
- Implementation and compliance with all statutory, ISS procedures
- Financial ownership and management & reporting of own projects P&L
- Team development/mentoring
Requirements:
- 15-20 years Project Management Experience within a Mechanical discipline as a Tier 2 supplier with a proven track record in high-class project management/professional service delivery
- Education to at least Degree, HND or equivalent full technical standard. Recognised qualification in project management such as RICS or APM
- Technical expertise, qualifications in a recognised discipline (Fabric/Elec/Mech/Civil etc) would be an important pre-requisite of the role
- Knowledge of key operational procedures, eg, project road maps, planned maintenance systems, Quality and Health & Safety
- Full knowledge of information technology, Microsoft projects, Windows, spreadsheets, keyboard skills, etc
- Experience of Government Contract Administration tools such as CEMAR or FastDraft will be an advantage
