Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our Customer Forward Maintenance Team, Customer Technical Team, and FM Project Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all project delivery related to mechanical services, including Boilers, Chillers, AHU's, Lab Extract Systems, Steam distribution, and refrigerant.

Your role will involve working closely with Site Managers, FM Managers, ISS Stakeholders, Designers, and Suppliers to ensure successful project implementation in adherence to ISS UK Project Standards & Playbook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to achieve project goals
  • Ensure compliance with ISS UK Project Standards & Playbook, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  • Lead and mentor project teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Requirements

  • 15-20 years of project management experience within a mechanical discipline, with a proven track record in high-class project management/professional service delivery
  • Education to at least degree level, HND or equivalent full technical standard, ideally with a recognized qualification in project management such as RICS or APM
  • Technical expertise, qualifications in a recognized discipline (Fabric/Elec/Mech/Civil etc) would be an important pre-requisite of the role
  • Knowledge of key operational procedures, eg, project road maps, planned maintenance systems, Quality and Health & Safety
  • Full knowledge of information technology, Microsoft projects, Windows, spreadsheets, keyboard skills, etc
  • Experience of Government Contract Administration tools such as CEMAR or FastDraft will be an advantage
