About the Role
Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Personal Advisor to join their team in the Hackney area. This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with Social Workers and other professionals, reporting directly to the Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves working collaboratively with the Virtual School, accommodation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the support and preparedness of care leavers for independence. You will hold a caseload of up to 25 care leavers and review Pathway Plans in a timely manner, requiring excellent engagement and organisational skills.

Main Duties

  1. You will establish strong relationships with care leavers, their families, and support networks while undertaking Review Pathway Plans and coordinating support interventions.
  2. You will engage and communicate effectively with other agencies, including professional views in plans for care leavers, working collaboratively and maintaining regular liaison in their best interests.
  3. You will work with care leavers in their accommodation or other settings on an agreed basis to monitor, assess risk, and assist in implementing an agreed plan of support using evidence-based methodologies.
  4. You will work independently, making decisions about tasks that need doing, taking responsibility for these decisions and their impact on the care leaver.
  5. You will bring concerns relating to the quality of a care leaver's accommodation or their safety and well-being to the attention of your line manager.

Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Personal Advisor who can provide high-quality support to care leavers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as experience working with young people aged 18-25 living in the community. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Working Conditions
This full-time position requires working Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week. You will be based in the Hackney area and will be responsible for working with care leavers in various settings.

Compensation Package
The estimated salary for this role is £24 per hour, reflecting the importance of the work and the qualifications required. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a comprehensive benefits programme.
