Job Opportunity: Experienced Town Planner Wanted for a Leading Housebuilder in Kent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our client's planning team in Kent. As a Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning applications for residential developments, working closely with internal and external consultants, and providing expert advice on planning matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning applications for residential developments, including site assessments, planning submissions, and liaison with local authorities
  • Work closely with internal and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide expert advice on planning matters, including policy interpretation and development management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and other key partners
  • Contribute to the development of planning strategies and policies to support business growth

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified with MRTPI (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute) or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of post-graduation experience in a Town Planning role
  • Proven experience of managing planning applications for residential developments
  • Good knowledge and experience of planning policies and procedures in Kent
  • Detailed experience of working on residential planning applications, including site assessments and planning submissions
