About the RoleThis role involves ensuring the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules. You will work within a team and under their own initiative to undertake all daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
- Work within a team and under their own initiative to maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevant SLAs.
- Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
- Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
- Maintain security - locking doors, following lost property procedures, etc.
- Have a full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
- Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Able to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
- Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
- Be open and honest.
- Be self-driven and determined.
We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
