Job Description
We are looking for a High Voltage Design Engineer to join our company in Bolton. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning LV and HV electrical utility network infrastructure and substation design. This role requires strong analytical skills to analyze complex electrical data and information, as well as excellent communication skills to engage effectively with Clients and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing individually tailored HV/LV electrical network design solutions and earthing assessments.
  • Obtaining approval for these design solutions.
  • Providing specialist electrical network/substation engineering advice to project stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Good understanding of UK power industry including technical standards DNO/IDNO network construction requirements.
  • Prioritizing workflow to ensure that individual projects are completed accurately on time and within budget.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and resolve design issues.

Salary and Benefits:

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
