Up to £25.00 per hour, depending on experience
As a Senior Biomedical Scientist - Histology Specialist, you will work on a bank contract, providing pathology services on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Our highly motivated and talented Pathology team will appreciate your 'can-do' attitude as you deliver quality pathology services and take a share of covering an on-call service out of hours.
You will enjoy a varied range of responsibilities, including:
- Performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
- Quality control and keeping records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
- Validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.
It is essential that you are registered with the HCPC and have relevant laboratory experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion biomedical science.
You will bring to the role good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
A great communicator and team player, you understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
