Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services and taking a share of covering an on-call service out of hours.
You'll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities, including:
- Performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
- Quality control and maintaining records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
- Validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be registered with the HCPC and have relevant laboratory experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion biomedical science. You'll bring a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
