Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Manager to join our team at Lamb Weston. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production facility, ensuring that all production goals and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes
  • Monitor and control production costs, quality, and productivity to meet company goals
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve overall performance
  • Provide training and guidance to production team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a food processing environment
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and safety procedures
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role

Work Environment:

  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, wet conditions, and hazardous materials
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
