About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our Transformation Unit as a Medical Director, overseeing the development and delivery of anaesthesia services. You will work closely with our clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent patient outcomes.

As a senior clinician, you will participate in continuing professional development, undertake teaching and training, and contribute to the strengthened appraisal and job planning processes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of anaesthesia services strategies.
  2. Oversee the management of anaesthetic teams, including consultants, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Ensure compliance with NHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other clinical departments to improve patient care and service delivery.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service redesign.
