About the Role

Mtjoy Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter Multi to join our team at the University of Southampton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry repairs and maintenance tasks in occupied student accommodation, buildings, and empty rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fitting of various types of doors, including fire doors
  • First and second fixing carpentry
  • Kitchen installations
  • Ceramic wall tiling
  • Carpet tiling and minor decorative works

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2-3 in carpentry or equivalent
  • Competence in 2 other secondary skills
  • Full driving licence
  • 2-5 years' experience of working in building maintenance and educational environments
